A Bollywood Paros Wedding
When Joanna from Joanna Loukaki weddings first asked if I was free end of May for an Indian destination wedding in Paros – I was thrilled. Firstly because I had recently photographed an amazing Indian wedding in Tzia at Aigis Suites, with great colours and sounds and secondly because Paros (as well as Mykonos) is very dear to me as a destination – beautiful colours, great ambiance and the island has amazing vibes.
It was when we skyped with Natalie and Prithvy that I knew they were “my” couple. Natalie wanted natural, non intrusive photography capturing the mood, the moments, the colours, the passion, and the energy of the three day wedding. Yes definitely my kind of couple 🙂
The wedding guests came from all corners of the globe, to convene for the special days – which began with an easy going welcome dinner in Siparos, an elegant seaside venue near Naoussa. The second day saw the key aspects of the Indian wedding ceremony, Sangeet and Mehndi at the Poseidon of Paros. The mandap was to die for with bright colours, contrasting perfectly with the whites and blues of the natural environment. The sounds and lights of Nikos X and his crew ensured the party lasted into the early hours.
Highlights of the Indian ceremony follow
Finally a shout out to the great team of pros that made for a seamless, and fluid Paros wedding adventure that will long be remembered.
