There is always something magical when a couple asks you to shoot their destination wedding! It is just an incredible honor.

And honored I was when Claudia and Erik asked me to join them in Mallorca for their wonderful wedding. An intimate, emotional destination wedding with a wonderful, kind couple celebrating their love with their amazing friends from all over the world.

The first night the guests were welcomed at one of the oldest beach clubs in Palma – Puro Beach. Smiles, hugs, laughter, old friends meeting up after a long time, champagne, chilled wine, cocktails and snacks. An amazing start to a wonderful destination wedding weekend.

The wedding itself took place in the legendary Cap Rocat hotel – a former military fortress located in the most secluded area of the bay of Palma de Mallorca. It is amazing how this luxury hotel just blends in to the environment and becomes one with the landscape.

The late afternoon ceremony took place on the roof top terrace, with the sunset views across the bay of Palma. After cocktails and sax music, the guests moved down for the gourmet dinner. Just loved the single table for all the guests to sit together – and with such discreet, refined art de la table.

After dinner, guests were entertained by an impressive fire show – which seemed to blend perfectly within the walls of the fortress.

The party was held in the bunker of the fortress. Just an awesome venue for the party. Great atmosphere, funky music, and dancing until the early hours.

If you are considering Cap Rocat as for a destination wedding it is definitely thoroughly recommended. The setting itself is just unique, the views across Palma simply unique. The discreet luxury, the omnipresent but non intrusive service, and simply so many choices for hosting your perfect wedding.
